Macy's Passport @ Barker Hangar ~ 2005

Macy's Passport 2005 Barker Hangar, Santa Monica, CA

Designers took the runway by storm this year at Macy's Passport 2005 by putting on more than just a fashion show, by creating a show that's truly fit for Los Angeles.

Calvin Klein opened the show by sending his models flying down the runway on motorcycles dressed in fashions fit for the traveler, while Mattel showed off their Hot Wheels Line with children break dancing and doing martial arts down the runway.

Dulce de Leche brought back the days of the Wild West and created a stir by showing off their menswear line embellished with sombreros, and other cowboy gear. Sharon Stone, the host of this year’s benefit, helped Macy’s and American Express raise more than $150,000 for HIV/AIDS research in Los Angeles. Although the featured collections are as follows: Calvin Klein, Hot Wheels by Mattel, JLO by Jennifer Lopez, MAC, Dulce de Leche, other designers were also shown on the runway: Armani, BCBG, D&G, DKNY, Just Cavalli, Kenneth Cole, Laundry, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, and Versace. Celebrities that showed up to this charity auction included Pete Sampras, Wilmer Valderama, Venus Williams, and Marc Anthony.
