Nordstrom's Grand Opening Gala Irvine Spectrum Center September 28, 2005

In celebration of Nordstrom's newest store at the Irvine Spectrum in Orange County, Nordstrom Inc. threw a special benefit gala at the 125,000 sq. ft. building in which they now call home. The gala honored CASA of Orange County as well as Laura’s House, both charity organizations that help victims of domestic violence.

Orange County business tycoons and special guests flocked to this event as they enjoyed tasty delights from Orange County’s top chefs. Live entertainment and a series of runway shows dazzled the audience by featuring the Fall 2005 fashions of BCBG Max Azria, Cynthia Steffe, Diane Von Furstenburg, Elie Tahari, Hugo Boss, L.A.M.B., Nanette Lepore, Rachel Pally, Rebecca Taylor, and Trina Turk. In total the benefit raised $150,000 while wooing the fashion elites of the OC.
